About the event

Varroa mites are considered the most significant threat to the health and survival of honeybees in the United States. They weaken bees by feeding on their blood and transmitting diseases, making them more susceptible to other stressors and ultimately leading to colony collapse.

This week, Thomas Townsend of SpringHill Farm and Apiary will be presenting on the threat that varroa poses, how to properly do a count check on your hives, and the options available in their treatment.

Please come join us learn about this very important topic!
